Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that may be placed on your device when you use our website. Unboredly also uses browser storage, such as local storage and session storage, for functional purposes including remembering preferences and supporting session-related behavior. This policy refers to these technologies together as browser storage where appropriate.

Types of Cookies We Use

• Strictly Necessary Storage — Used where needed for security, authentication, and core platform functionality, including temporary security cookies used during certain connected-service authorization flows.
• Functional Browser Storage — Local or session storage may remember preferences and interface state, such as display choices, sidebar state, dismissed prompts, and recent activity needed for session behavior.

Third-Party Cookies

Unboredly uses Google services, including Firebase for authentication and protected data services and Google Calendar when a user chooses to connect it. A temporary, secure HTTP-only cookie is used during the Google Calendar authorization flow to help protect that connection attempt. Google's handling of information through its services is described in Google's Privacy Policy.

How to Control Cookies

You can control or delete cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Blocking storage that is necessary for security or a requested integration may prevent that feature from working correctly. Your browser's controls determine what can be viewed, cleared, or blocked.

Cookie Retention

Retention depends on the technology and purpose. Temporary authorization cookies expire after the connection flow or their configured lifetime. Functional local storage may remain until it is cleared, replaced, or no longer needed, while session storage is generally limited to the browser session. Authentication state is managed by the authentication service and may persist according to its configured session behavior.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Unboredly after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
